Everybody's doing it
I was intrigued by an entry that my sister posted a while back about this book:

Although I'm still confused about the picture of the apple on the cover, this book got me thinking about other things that "Everyone" does; breathing, eating, heart beating, and other basic life functions were the first to come to mind. One day while browsing the books at our library I happened upon these books:

Interesting ideas, but highly debatable. I've come up with a few ideas myself that are a little more applicable to the term "Everyone." Here are a few suggestions of future books Taro Gomi could author, and some images she might use for her cover.

Peachy Chicken

As requested, this is the recipe for Peachy Chicken. I got this from my math buddy from last year. The fried peaches are a little weird, but all in all it's pretty good.
4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon butter
1 can (15-1/4 oz) sliced peaches, undrained
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup orange juice
1 envelope onion soup mix
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown chicken in oil and butter; remove and keep warm. Add peaches with juice, brown sugar, orange juice and soup mix to skillet, stir until combined. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes. Reduce heat; return chicken to pan. Simmer, uncovered, for 15-20 minutes or until chicken juices run clear. Serve over rice if desired.
April Fools!
Alright, so I'm a few days late, but I was just wondering how many people know how creative and funny the Google people are. Every holiday they change their Google banner to match the theme, and April Fools is no exception. This year they introduced "Gmail Custom Time" which allows you to send emails a week ago, 6 hours ago, or even years ago. This could save your skin if you ever forget an important event, or craftily turn an argument in your favor. You can even mark if you want that email to be read or unread. If you're still not sold, then click here for more details.I wasn't fooled by this year's joke, but they sure got me last year. I was stoked that I'd never have to print pictures through Walmart again.

Spring Break Baby!
Due to all the stress of school and work this week I've decided to boycott both. Conveniently it's also Spring Break, so I won't miss too much.

Newborns
I know, I know, everybody does this. They get a blog and the very first post reveals their insecurities about all the newness, sometimes reasons for getting one, and of course the promises to keep it updated as much as possible.
Well I'm here to let you know that this is not the case for me. I'm familiar with the layout, I really have no reason to blog, and I cannot assure anyone that I will update this with any frequency. But it's still the ultimate- no rocks or spits.
