Honk if you love blogging!

Hey all! [Insert segway here]
I often dress in the dark. Yes, on purpose. It's not unusual for me to come out to the hallway, blinking at the lights as I examine what I have anonymously chosen as that day's outfit. Sometimes it's fitting. Today, however, was one of those days. Yes, one of those days where I paused only long enough to notice what color my undershirt was and whether it clashed or not with my shirt (which was white, so fortunately not a problem). What I failed to notice was that I had slipped it on inside-out; the seams unabashedly showing their threaded selves while I walked to school, studied Spanish at the library, went to classes, all the way until I got to work where I had another chance at a mirror in the bathroom. What luck that the very place I noticed it was also as place where I could fix it! I changed in a stall, then took the opportunity to use the toilet whilst I was there. That's when I noticed my underwear which was... yup, you guessed it: inside-out.
"Suzy!" You all exclaim, "what a ridiculous occurrence! And it is this that you chose to end your blogging famine with?!"
Why yes, yes it is.

Everybody's doing it

I was intrigued by an entry that my sister posted a while back about this book:

Although I'm still confused about the picture of the apple on the cover, this book got me thinking about other things that "Everyone" does; breathing, eating, heart beating, and other basic life functions were the first to come to mind. One day while browsing the books at our library I happened upon these books:

Interesting ideas, but highly debatable. I've come up with a few ideas myself that are a little more applicable to the term "Everyone." Here are a few suggestions of future books Taro Gomi could author, and some images she might use for her cover.
Everyone Grows Hair

Everyone Sweats

Everyone Decomposes

Peachy Chicken

As requested, this is the recipe for Peachy Chicken. I got this from my math buddy from last year. The fried peaches are a little weird, but all in all it's pretty good.

4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon butter
1 can (15-1/4 oz) sliced peaches, undrained
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup orange juice
1 envelope onion soup mix

In a large skillet over medium heat, brown chicken in oil and butter; remove and keep warm. Add peaches with juice, brown sugar, orange juice and soup mix to skillet, stir until combined. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes. Reduce heat; return chicken to pan. Simmer, uncovered, for 15-20 minutes or until chicken juices run clear. Serve over rice if desired.
